Let's make a Splash by adding a low-impact and high-energy aquatic exercise to your fitness routine!
How It Works! Aqua Zumba is classic aqua aerobics with a Latin flavor added! You perform larger muscle movements by reaching your arms and lifting your legs in the water, as well as circling your hips and shoulders. The typical land-based Zumba dance steps, such as cha-cha, merengue, salsa, reggaeton and mambo, are slower in the water, so the water tempo is half. It is up to you how hard you dance!
Benefits - There is less impact on your joints during an Aqua Zumba®class so you can really let loose! Water creates natural resistance, which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles! The water’s resistance cushions your feet, knees and back as you dance the class away!
Combining the Zumba philosophy with vigorous aqua exercises this is one pool party you don’t want to miss!
Classes are held in shallow water for a great low-impact but challenging workout!
